Bupa who will issue a payment guarantee to the hospital – matched to the cover selected by you. The bill can then be sent directly to IHI Bupa, enabling you to concentrate on getting better.

In the event of emergency admission, you should notify IHI Bupa as soon as possible in order to avoid misunderstandings about the insurance cover. You must state the date of admission, diagnosis, treatment and expected date of discharge.

Hospitalization (Inpatient)
Inpatient treatments is defined by any procedure of over 24 hour. For planned treatments, policy holder must submit Pre Notification Form to the administrator 72 hours before admission. In case of emergency, administrator must be informed with 48 hours of incident. For maternity cover, please inform admin with the first 180 days of pregnancy.

Outpatient
Any treatment by clinic or hospital of less than 24 hours are considered outpatient and will be reimbursed to the client
